Easy Quiz Builder

I created an easy quiz builder to help me quickly and efficiently create QTI-formatted quizzes (which can be imported into Canvas). The quiz builder allows you to type your questions in plain text using a very simple markup language that you can learn in about 5 minutes. Once you've typed/pasted in your text below (or uploaded it from a plain text file), click the "Create Quiz" button to make a QTI assessment (in .zip format) that's ready to upload and use on Canvas. Since I also often have both face-to-face and online sections of the same course, I also added the ability to create a printable (DOCX/MS Word) version of the quiz (with accompanying answer key) to hand out in my face-to-face classes. The quiz builder currently supports the following question types:

• matching
• multiple choice
• fill-in-the-blank
• true-false
• word bank
