I've been using the Canvas LMS for many years, and while the Rich Content Editor is fine, you can create much more stylish components for your courses if you know a little HTML. But you don't have to learn HTML! Plain Text QTI (Canvas) Quiz Builder

Creating a quiz via Canvas's assessment builder can be a bit cumbersome and slow. And I'm an old-fashioned guy who prefers the efficiency of the keyboard to the point-and-click GUI styles that have taken over computing. So I wrote a very simple markup language (you can learn the entire language in 5 minutes) that allows you to create quizzes in plain text, then with one click, convert them into quizzes (ZIP files) ready to upload into your Canvas courses!
